Sportsbooks believe the Pittsburgh Steelers are among the favorites to sign Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson.
The Broncos chose to bench Wilson for the final two games of the season in order to avoid any injury guarantees in his contract. Wilson’s stint in Denver appears to be coming to an end with the transfer, as he will enter free agency this offseason. The Steelers are among the favorites to sign the Super Bowl-winning quarterback, with 8/1 odds.
The Steelers are competing for Wilson in the spring with the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, and Chicago Bears. Minnesota Vikings (5/1) are the current favorites, followed by New England Patriots (6/1) and Washington Commanders and Las Vegas Raiders (7/1).
This offseason, the Steelers will likely hunt for another quarterback option to replace Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph. While Wilson is an option, Pittsburgh’s first choice with a new offensive coordinator will most likely be to give Kenny Pickett another opportunity as the starter.
