Patriots rule out receiver and list nine players as doubtful for the Bills game.
JuJu Smith-Schuster was ruled out by New England on Friday for the Week 17 matchup in Buffalo. Due to an ankle issue, Smith-Schuster will be out for the third straight game.
Nine players were also listed by New England as questionable, including safety Kyle Dugger, who missed practice on Friday due to illness. Jabrill Peppers, the safety, is likewise rated as dubious after making his practice comeback on Friday. He did not participate in the road victory against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, nor did he attend this week’s first two practices.
Trent Brown, Ezekiel Elliott, Ja’Whaun Bentley, Kayshon Boutte, Jalen Mills, and Trent Brown were all taken off the injury report and seem to be healthy enough to play against the Bills. This is a fairly shocking development for Brown, who has struggled with a number of injuries and illness in recent weeks, which has affected his playing time and practice participation.
The Patriots’ official website has the most recent injury report for Week 17, along with information on practice participation.
