In 2025, Tennessee has an abundance of gifted prospects, and the Volunteers are aggressively pursuing an abundance of them.
QB George MacIntyre
MacIntyre is a five-star quarterback from Nashville’s Brentwood Academy. He stands 6-6 and weighs 185 pounds and possesses tremendous talent. He excels at escaping pressure and passing on the move, thanks to his athletic background as a Power-5 prospect in both football and basketball. Tennessee is competing for MacIntyre alongside Alabama and LSU. He is no longer accepting visits, and it has been speculated for months that MacIntyre may make a decision as early as January.
Cameron Sparks, Wide Receiver
Cameron Sparks is a Baylor High School athlete from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is roughly 6-4 and weighs 210 pounds and can play on either side of the ball. During the season, Sparks played mostly wide receiver on the offensive side, with some snaps coming from running back; however, he has also played safety and linebacker. Tennessee has been courting Sparks since his eighth-grade year, so he would be a wonderful addition for the Volunteers. Tennessee appears to be the clear frontrunner here, but Florida State, Georgia, Auburn, and Michigan are all strong candidates.
DL Ethan Utley
Ensworth High School’s Ethan Utley is a defensive force in Nashville, Tennessee. Height is roughly 6-4 and 270 pounds, and he recently issued a list of top schools. On Christmas, the outstanding in-state athlete announced a top-five list that included Tennessee, Texas, Syracuse, Oklahoma, and Michigan. Utley is already linked to two Tennessee pledges, as he has a history with two Milton defensive backs, Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond. “We played youth football together and built a strong relationship,” Lewis said. That’s like a brother to me, and Rocky Top needs him.” “I definitely want Ethan Utley!” Redmond added. Let’s re-join the squad because I used to play with him in Little League, so why not?” Utley has visited Tennessee several times, and the Vols appear to be in a strong position in this recruitment.
S. Jaylan Morgan
Morgan is a Rockvale High School safety from Rockvale, Tennessee. He stands roughly 6’0 and weighs 180 pounds and is now Crystal Balled by Steve Wiltfong on 247Sports to Tennessee, which was added to the website in November. Morgan paid many visits to the Vols, and it’s safe to say that Tennessee is the clear leader at this juncture in the recruiting process.
OL Chauncey Gooden
Gooden is a Lipscomb Academy inside offensive lineman from Nashville, Tennessee. He was teammates with Tennessee football players Kaleb Beasley and Edwin Spillman. Michigan, Oregon, Auburn, Colorado, Oklahoma, Tennessee, South Carolina, Missouri, Clemson, and Georgia were among the top schools he named. Tennessee is unquestionably involved in this recruitment.
CJ Jimcoily and DB
CJ Jimcoily is a defensive back from Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, and he played alongside Tennessee signee Kaleb Beasley. Height is 6’3 and weighs 200 pounds, and he has yet to submit a top school list. Jimcoily noted in early November, “I’m getting close to narrowing down my top schools.” If nothing spontaneous appears, that will happen sooner rather than later. I’ve got a couple more colleges that haven’t offered yet but are showing interest in me that I’ll look into. Tennessee, on the other hand, is one of the schools on my final list. Oklahoma, North Carolina, LSU, and Michigan are also on the list.” according to Volunteer Country. Tennessee is involved in this recruiting, and it’s safe to assume that Jimcoily will be a force wherever he goes.
WR Radarious Jackson
Jackson, a 6’2 180-pound wideout from Memphis, Tennessee, plays wide receiver. He is a touch under the radar, as he is unranked by numerous recruitment services. Tennessee first appeared in Jackson’s recruitment in October, when they offered, and he later visited in November. Since then, Tennessee has appeared to be the front-runner for the Sheffield High School wideout.
WR Joakim Dodson
Dodson’s name is well-known in the Tennessee recruiting community. He has tented with the Vols, visited them several times, and was offered in January 2023. He stands 6’0 and weighs 180 pounds and attends Collierville High School in Collierville, Tennessee. He would be another wideout for the Vols to add, and they would have an advantage because he has already visited Tennessee.
ATH Daune Morris
Daune Morris is a running back prospect from Murfreesboro, Tennessee’s Oakland High School. He stands 5’9″ and weighs 180 pounds and was just offered by the Volunteers. He hasn’t revealed a top school list, but Kentucky appears to be in a good position with the potential. Morris burst into the spotlight after transferring from Red Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he was a Mr. Football semifinalist behind Tennessee’s Boo Carter. Boo and Daune train together on occasion, which may be an appealing selling point for the Volunteers.
DL Jhrevious Hall
Hall was offered by Tennessee late in 2022 and has visited the Volunteer State multiple times since. He stands roughly 6’2 and weighs 270 pounds and attends Columbia Central High School in Columbia, Tennessee. Tennessee jumped in on this recruiting early, so this would be a significant addition to the class. Hall and Utley appear to be the two in-state players they would like to land in this position group.
S. Jay’len Mosley
Mosley is a Jackson Christian High School athlete from Jackson, Tennessee. He stands roughly 6’0 and weighs 190 pounds. He’s traveled to Tennessee twice since the Volunteers invited him for unofficial visits. The Vols have been very aggressive in their pursuit of DBs, with Mosley being one of them. It will be intriguing to see if they can do enough to land him as time goes on.
