Florida football: Kam Alexander, a DB transfer from UTSA, will make an official visit to the Gators

Florida football’s transfer site activity has increased significantly in the last few days, and the team has a full schedule of visitors for the first weekend of January.
Will Harris, the new defensive backfield coach, has been tirelessly pursuing transfer targets on campus, and he has now welcomed another guest to his already stellar roster.
Along with a few other priority targets listed on the portal, UTSA transfer Kam Alexander is now anticipated to visit on January 5.
If Alexander chooses to move to Florida, he is another accomplished defensive back who will contribute right away.
Florida Gators football: No area designated for flying
Alexander is lockdown in coverage and severely disrupts the passing game of opponents. In addition to 34 tackles and a sack this past season, he totaled two interceptions and fifteen pass deflections.
In the Frisco Bowl, where UTSA defeated Marshall, Kam was awarded the game’s MVP and was selected for the first team of the AAC.
Even though Alexander is one of the five, his reputation precedes him. Given all of the recognition he received this past season and his consistent growth from year to year, the Gators should target him heavily in the portal.
Alexander’s size is the one area where he currently lacks perfection. His height of 5’11”-175 puts him in the smaller end of SEC DBs.
However, Billy Napier had a rationale for altering the S&C personnel and nutrition. With a little muscle gain, Kam might develop into a top-tier defensive back. Even if they all want to be Gators, it’s doubtful that the Gators will sign every DB that visits next week.
If Kam decided to commit to Florida next week, it would be difficult to say no when he saw them all side by side.
