Following Cam Ward’s addition to the roster, how many victories can Miami Hurricanes fans anticipate?
As of 2024, things are looking better.
Miami has recruited elite transfer quarterback Cam Ward to its roster and has consistently placed in the top seven recruiting classes.During the previous season, Ward passed for over 3,700 yards at Washington State, with 25 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions.
After adding a blue-chipper to the starting lineup at the most crucial position and adding depth at other positions, I asked Miami fans on X where they were expecting the Hurricanes to go in 2024.
The vote had four alternatives available:
1- Go at least 8-4.
2- 10 wins or more.
3- ACC Championship.
4- College Football Playoff.
At 57% of the vote, 10 wins+ is the clear front-runner as of the time of publication. This meets all of my own expectations. I would have been in the 8–9 victory area before Ward, with 9 as the upper limit.
At least 8-4 is far behind at 17%, then the College Football Playoff at 12% and the ACC Championship at 14%. Voting in the poll is still available until Wednesday, January 17th at 9:00 a.m. Smitty LaRock, an X user, had a logical reply. While it’s best to “wait and see,” speculating is always entertaining. This is the purpose of the off-seasons…
