Does Coby White hold the key to the Chicago Bulls’ future?
It’s not often that having a player who accounts for nearly half of your team’s cap sheet sidelined for an extended period of time can work to your advantage, but in Zach LaVine’s case, the star Chicago Bulls guard’s need for several weeks off to recover from a foot injury presented an opportunity to examine backup floor general Coby White in more detail.
Now that it appears more likely than not that the Bulls’ front office intends to let go of LaVine (and his enormous contract), it may make a lot of sense for the organization to evaluate White as their starting point guard and surround him with guys who can complement him. Alternatively, might it?
