The Elland Road star misses Plymouth Argyle’s FA Cup replay against Leeds United.
Ben Waine was the sole striker available on the replacements’ bench versus Swansea due to Bundu’s absence. In the 75th minute, he came in for Ryan Hardie. “Bundu has a calf injury, which is really unfortunate because he has come on at Elland Road and played particularly well,” Argyle head coach Ian Foster stated. That’s disappointing for both of us, then.
Foster went on, “These are early days. Over the next three weeks, we will evaluate him and see how he is doing. He is very questionable for this week’s games.” Additionally absent from the Argyle team versus Swansea were club captain Joe Edwards and defender Dan Scarr.
Foster clarified, saying, ‘Dan Scarr has been ill. It’s been here in the camp for a little while. Ryan (Hardie) was the first to go without training before the Leeds game. Scarrsy dropped out at the end of the week because Ashley Phillips missed a few days this week.
“Joe’s absence is primarily due to football because of how many games we have. That’s all there was to it; we will need to use the entire squad, but Joe will rejoin us on Tuesday.”
