U-turn theory emerges, that Jürgen Klopp will take this post after leaving Liverpool.
Jürgen Klopp is scheduled to depart Liverpool at the end of the current campaign. The German coach is reportedly considering a vacation from football, but he may be persuaded to stay by one team.
As he is ready to leave Anfield, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp may be persuaded to return to management as early as this summer. After nine years on Merseyside, Klopp will be leaving Anfield at the end of this season.
In revealing his plans, Klopp acknowledged that he needed a vacation from football because he was running out of energy. The German further declared that he would never lead another Premier League team and that he would not manage a team or a nation for at least a year.
Journalist Gerard Romero, though, speculates that Klopp would postpone his vacation in order to take a chance managing a certain team. Romero asserts that because Klopp has supposedly spoken with Barcelona president Joan Laporta in the past, he could not be able to turn down an offer to manage the club.
Having managed just three clubs in his career, Klopp will undoubtedly hold off on returning until the proper time and organization. Barcelona has surfaced as a potential destination following the announcement of current manager Xavi Hernandez’s leaving at the end of the current campaign.
Barcelona is eight points behind league leaders Real Madrid, after winning La Liga the previous season. Like Klopp, legendary Barcelona player Xavi acknowledged that his stamina is waining.
“In Barcelona, you always feel like you’re not valued, you’re mistreated — that’s how the club works,” he stated. From a mental health perspective, it’s also difficult. Though I consider myself to be a cheerful person, there comes a moment at which you realize there’s no use in continuing.”
It is evident from Klopp’s statements that he will only manage Liverpool and no other English team in the future. “If you ask me, ‘Will you ever work as a manager again?'” he declared. Right now, I’d say no. However, as I have never been in that circumstance, I obviously have no idea how that will feel.”
“What I am certain of is that I will never, ever manage a club in England other than Liverpool.” That isn’t achievable. Liverpool has already guaranteed a spot in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea later this month, and they may potentially finish Klopp’s tenure with four titles.
Although the lead has now shrunk to two points, the Reds remain unbeaten in the Premier League and are strong favorites to win the FA Cup and Europa League.
