According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the treatment is deemed “minor,” and Anunoby should be back playing hoops by the end of February or the beginning of March at the latest.
Anunoby was averaging 15.1 points, 2.7 assists, and 3.9 rebounds in 33.3 minutes per game prior to the injury. His field goal percentage was 48.9 percent overall, and his three-point percentage was 37.4 percent.
In exchange for R.J. Barrett, Immanuel Quickly, and a second-round pick, the athlete, who was born in the United Kingdom, was moved by the Toronto Raptors to the Knicks in December. Malachi Flynn and Precious Achiuwa were also involved in that transaction.
Thursday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks is the first of several that Anunoby will miss for New York. The Knicks acquired OG Anunoby in December, and he won’t be back until late February or early March.
