The edge rusher with five stars is expected to commit to Georgia football
Zion Grady, a five-star pass rusher, has been expected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs, according to Anna Adams of 247Sports. Grady recently decommitted from the Alabama Crimson Tide following Nick Saban’s retirement.
Grady had previously committed to Alabama, but one of his top choices for colleges was Georgia. The Bulldogs are still in the running to sign the top edge rusher available in the 2025 class. Grady did, in fact, just happen to visit Georgia.
The football player for Charles Henderson High School in Troy, Alabama, is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound pass rusher. Grady is ranked No. 23 in the recruiting class of 2025. Grady holds the second position among Alabama’s players.
Grady assisted Charles Henderson in qualifying for two straight state championship games. The top prospect had 11 sacks and 87 tackles in the previous campaign.
The five-star prospect is a basketball player as well. Grady posted on social media that he had 22 sacks and 108 tackles in 2022. Grady has already made the decision to participate in the NBC All-American Bowl in 2025.
Nearly all elite college football programs have extended scholarship offers to graduates. The five-star pass rusher has outstanding bends and is an explosive athlete. Grady can rack up sacks on opposing quarterbacks thanks to his closing speed. He is just the kind of pass rusher that Georgia and Kirby Smart are searching for.
