Headlining Utah Utes Awarded All-Pac-12 Honors is Alissa Pili
The Pac-12 Conference revealed its Women’s Basketball All-Conference selections and winners on Tuesday. Any Utah supporter would not have been surprised to see Alissa Pili selected for the third time in her career to the All-Pac-12 squad. The Utah senior forward has been a productive scorer this season, ranking second in the conference with an average of 21 points per game. Earlier in the season, he set a new career high with 37 points in the team’s defeat to South Carolina. a target she once again met while battling her former program (USC).
She has not only made significant arguments, but done so skillfully. She is the Utes’ best shooter with a 55% field goal percentage, a 40% three-point percentage, and an 81.9% free throw percentage.
Jenna Johnson, Kennady McQueen, and Inês Vieira were also recognized as All-Pac-12 Honorable Mentions, so she wasn’t the only Ute to receive recognition.
On Wednesday night, No. 22 Utah will play Arizona State in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.
