AZERIKA IS THE NEXT POKEMON RIVAL, BUT FIRST PALWORLD STEPS AWAY.
Meet Azur Promilia if you felt that Palworld’s gameplay, which is reminiscent of Pokemon, was getting near to perfection. This new RPG appears to be the ideal fusion of Palworld’s agricultural and creature collection elements with the open-world gameplay and graphics of Genshin Impact. And of course, Pokemon, the original game.
On the PlayStation 5, Azur Promilia is Genshin Impact Meets Pokemon.
The next attempt to create a gacha hit a la Genshin Impact, Azur Promilia aims to combine an expansive open world with anime-inspired themes, creature-collecting aspects, and an array of attractive waifu. Manjuu Network Technologies, widely known for Azur Lane, is developing it. For those who don’t know, it’s a side-scrolling shooter that became so famous that an anime adaptation, card game, and spin-off named Azur Lane Crosswave were all produced.
Together with your group of AI-controlled individuals, you explore a sizable open world in Azur Promilia. Using both creatures you capture and elemental skills, you will engage in real-time combat with monsters. In addition to being utilized for puzzle solving, these animals can be deployed to harvest items in the open world. Of course, you may fly and ride them as well to get about the world more quickly. And lastly, there’s a mini-game about farming that involves your cute animals. Below is a lengthy gameplay trailer for you to watch.
Outside of that, not much is known about the game beyond some lore-specific details found on its website. For example, while it most likely will have some form of multiplayer, it isnโt clear yet. However, you can pre-register to try the game out for yourself by heading to its official website. It will be launching exclusively for PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS, although no release date has been given.
