The Game Is Significantly Changed By Palworld’s Huge Base Update
Palworld hasn’t received as many updates as some other early access games that are still quite popular, but the amount of additional stuff this patch brings to the game makes it feel like it was worth the wait. These recently implemented, highly-requested QoL additions will be a great boost to the level of inventiveness one can utilize at their base for those who like the craft of construction.
A significant portion of the content supplied by the Palworld Update v0.2.0.6 consists of foundation optimizations for the game. The latest version adds new features to the Monitoring Stand, such as the ability to assign certain Pals to workbenches. It also allows users to build Ore nodes anywhere within the base’s radius by introducing the Ore Mining Site and Ore Mining Site II. Like a Stone Pit, this gives players far greater freedom to choose where to locate their bases on the globe and keeps them from having to build around particular resource nodes.
Building the Tier 16 Ancient Technology Ore Mining Site requires 2 Ancient Technology Points, 50 Stone, 25 Ingots, and 20 Paldium Fragments. It is to be expected that Ore Mining Site II is the enhanced version of the new structure, and its construction will cost 100 Stone, 50 Ingots, and 40 Paldium Fragments.
People may now mine ore, a vital resource used to make several goods, armor, and weapons, thanks to the new structure. Before, in order to obtain essential resources, players had to locate certain Ore nodes and build a base close to them. This will allow for the passive generation of this resource while adventuring, creating new potential for bases in other locations. However, there are currently no coal and sulfur mining sites, necessitating the construction of a base around essential resources in order to create all the things required by players.
Quality of Life Shifts Are Gradually Changing Palworld
Three further important modifications have a big impact on the base, in addition to developments that have made Palworld bases more self-sufficient. The Monitoring Stand is the first example. Before, the Monitoring Stand’s restricted usefulness made it almost useless to construct outside of base raids; now, it serves as a simple means of allocating Pals to particular workbenches. When Pals are multitasking, this is useful because in the past, they would frequently work at an undesirable station. Each Pal’s chosen jobs can now be checked off, compelling them to work at the station most suited to their skill set.
Chest storage management represents Palworld v0.2.0.6’s second significant update. You can now choose which materials go in certain chests. Pals used to stack resources in chests with the same resource, but this was cumbersome and occasionally caused Pals to move things to chests that were far from their workstationsโnot the best practice.
Finally, Pals can move items automatically from the station to boxes if the “Allow Transport by Pals” checkbox is present at manufacturing workbenches and other stations.
