After seeing a viral video, Angel Reese declares she doesn’t “have a man at all.”
In March of this year, Angel Reese announced her separation from FSU standout Cam’Ron Fletcher. Reese filed for the WNBA Draft after LSU’s Elite 8 loss to Iowa.
Social media rumors that Angel Reese was concerned that someone might like her posts about a supposed boyfriend were quickly refuted.
The LSU standout watched the New York Knicks play their crosstown rivals, the Brooklyn Nets, on Thursday from courtside at Madison Square Garden.
Reese was seen using her phone and conversing with the person to her right during the game. Reese may have asked, “Why is she always in my man’s way?” in an attempt to lip-read the clip, according to an X (previously Twitter) account.
In a repost, Reese added, “This is not what I said, lol.” “I have no man at all,” I said. Basketball players Cam’Ron Fletcher of FSU and Reese recently broke up.
Reese announced the split during an Instagram live broadcast in March, when astute fans realized they had removed each other’s photos from their accounts. On the eve of LSU’s March Madness debut versus Rice University, the confirmation arrived.
“Yes, I am single,” she said to her 2.7 million fans. “I am without a man.” Please don’t tie me to any men. I will stop there. And that’s it.
Fletcher and Reese first became friends during the COVID-19 pandemic six years ago. When Reese appeared on her now-ex’s podcast in June 2023, she made their relationship official by declaring, “Yes, Cam’Ron is my boyfriend.”
The couple took excursions to Jamaica and New York City, had matching tattoos of each other’s names, and then separated less than a year later.
Following their defeat by Iowa Hawkeyes coach Caitlin Clark in the Elite 8 earlier this month, Reese and LSU were unable to hold onto their 2023 national championship.
Following LSU’s elimination from the competition, Bayou Barbie declared her intention to join the WNBA Draft.
