Palworld on Steam has received an update that brings the game’s version to v0.2.3.0. Xbox users will also receive this update; however, Pocketpair has not said when this will happen, simply that it “will be released as soon as it is ready.” Players should rejoice about a quality of life enhancement that has also been made: hatching Pal eggs is now much faster! This update primarily focuses on bug repairs. Below are the complete patch notes from the official Twitter account for the game:
Balance Adjustment
Hatching speed on the electric egg incubator has been enhanced. 1.5 times the typical rate of hatching
Optimization
Optimized the processing load on dedicated servers
Bug Fixes
You can now pet some pals that could not be pet due to a bug that prevented the “pet” option from working correctly
Fixed an issue where base pals would sometimes collide with each other on dedicated servers
[Xbox version only] Fixed an issue where the “Option to show/hide Journey” and “Option to change the scale of damage text numbers” were not working
Fixed other minor bugs
What Fixes Palworld Fans Want to See
As is customary with each new game update, gamers have seized the chance to discuss some of the improvements and fixes they’re still holding out for. Palworld has been crashing frequently on Xbox, especially in dungeons, and many players have been hopeful that these problems will be fixed. While some gamers are obviously annoyed by this—especially considering Palworld is still in beta—others are more forgiving. Since the game’s introduction in January, Pocketpair has been delivering updates on a regular basis, and this version includes at least one Xbox-specific repair. Fans will unfortunately have to wait patiently to see a resolution to these problems as it doesn’t appear that anything has been done about them.
A Big Game from a Small Studio
Players should be aware that Pocketpair is a little developer, among other things. It could be simple to overlook Palworld’s tiny size given its enormous early success. As a result, developing updates, repairs, and new material takes longer. That may come as a disappointment to some who were hoping for a better state for Palworld. The game obviously has a dedicated fan base, and the majority of those requesting patches (especially on Xbox) appear to be patient. and comprehension. However, as some players are complaining, it can be quite annoying to play a game and keep having crashes. It appears that Pocketpair is aware of these problems, so perhaps a solution will be announced shortly.
