The two firms announced on Wednesday that Ferrari and HP had inked a multi-year relationship that would make the second-largest PC vendor in the world the official title sponsor of Ferrari’s racing squad, including Formula One.
The firms released a joint statement stating that the arrangement, for which no financial information was given, calls for the HP badge to be unveiled on Ferrari’s F1 cars prior to the Miami Grand Prix on May 3-5, when the team would begin competing as Scuderia Ferrari HP.
A special edition Ferrari car livery created especially for the Miami Grand Prix will commemorate the partnership’s debut. Prior to the end of the 2021 season, Ferrari had not had a title sponsor whose name is linked to that of its racing team. That partnership ended with Philip Morris’s PM.N Mission Winnow.
Ferrari will make use of HP technology and services as part of the agreement, including printing capabilities, collaboration products and services, and adaptable PCs and devices. “The integration of HP’s high-performance products and services … will enable Scuderia Ferrari HP and the other racing teams of the Prancing Horse to turbocharge training precision and optimize strategic decision-making, on and off the track,” they stated.
Additionally, Ferrari and HP stated that they will collaborate to grow their educational programs within their teams and communities and that they were dedicated to advancing sustainable innovation.
