West Tigers coach Benji Marshall’s wife Zoe reacts to ‘bizarre’ accusations about her husband’s work ethic after he spoke about prioritizing his family.
The current issue surrounding her husband’s work ethic as the West Tigers coach has prompted a response from Benji Marshall’s wife, Zoe. In response to rumors that he wasn’t doing his share at the rugby league club, Benji stated that he is always the “first in the building” before training. These rumors originally surfaced in March.
Wests Tigers manager Shane Richardson praised him for his dedication to both his family and his career after hearing about how he “prioritizes his family between 5-8 every night to find a ‘work life balance.’ “Now that his 39-year-old wife Zoe has commented, she calls his devotion to his family the “hottest thing” and dismisses the dispute as “bizarre.”
“He was this poster boy for working dads,” she said to the Daily Telegraph. It seems odd for someone to put in an 11-hour workday and then receive criticism for simply existing and providing for their family — after all, what are they supposed to be doing?
If he’s not happy, content, or connected, how do you think he’ll be the greatest coach he can be? It’s crazy,’ she said. Following their 2013 wedding, Zoe and Benji are parents to two kids: Ever J, age two, and Benjamin Fox, age five.
In an effort to assist his colleague, West Tigers manager Shane recently said that Benji’s commitment to his family is admirable. He stated that it’s a good thing, rather than a bad thing, that Benji doesn’t work fourteen hours a day and wants to have a family life with his players.
“I regret not discovering that twenty years ago.” In my personal life, it would have spared me a great deal of suffering. I believe he is doing a good job of instilling a balance between work and life. After 11 years of marriage, Zoe and Benji have moved across the country and throughout the world with their two kids.
The rugby league WAG expressed her pride in the couple for being able to sustain a solid bond over time.Last year, Zoe and Benji reaffirmed their vows at home in front of friends and family, walking down the aisle for the second time.
Zoe revealed the couple had broken up three times prior to getting married in 2013, while she was expecting their daughter Ever. The family moved into a brand-new $4.75 million Sydney family house lately.
