Baby Gronk withdraws from Ole Miss after committing to Texas A&M, Louisville, and Kentucky.
Soon after he committed to playing for Texas A&M, he made his allegiance to Lane Kiffin and the Rebels. He declared he would play for Louisville on Saturday, making it the third school in a single day that he has committed to.
Adding another university to his list, Baby Gronk has committed to Tennessee, USC, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Minnesota, Pitt, South Carolina, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and just this June.
Early in May, Baby Gronk revealed his list of the top 30 schools, and he has subsequently committed to several of them. It appears he’s striving to finish the full list by the end of the summer, based on how fast he flips his commitments.
According to On3’s recruiting database, Baby Gronk has made innumerable promises, but they are meaningless because he hasn’t received any offers yet. According to Ari Wasserman of The Athletic, Baby Gronk has “a verbal offer” from Arizona, but he can’t take it until he’s in seventh grade. His father, Jake San Miguel, did mention this.
Baby Gronk, also known as Madden San Miguel, has amassed a sizable social media following in recent years, but some have questioned whether things have gotten too popular for him.
Rob Gronkowski, the namesake of Baby Gronk, stated that the joke has gone “too far” and is “awkward” from last summer. Still, San Miguel’s father hasn’t given up on becoming a viral celebrity; part of his strategy has involved enrolling his son in a new school virtually every day.
