Former reliever Jonny Venters pitched in professional baseball for the Tampa Bay Rays (2018), Washington Nationals (2019), Atlanta Braves (2010–2012, 2019–2019), and Tampa Bay Rays (2018). Among his career high points were being selected an Atlanta Braves all-star in 2011 and winning National League Comeback Player of the Year in 2018.
Former Atlanta Falcons players Mohamed Sanu, Sean Weatherspoon, Christian Blake, and Elijah Wilkinson have joined the ownership group of Legacy Sports Complex, a cutting-edge sports and fitness training facility in suburban Atlanta, which Venters has joined.
Together with their efforts to develop more Legacy Sports Complex locations in the region, the quartet will form the foundation of the Legacy Football Division.
