The Steelers may be without Najee Harris against the Patriots.
Harris did not practice on a short week due to a knee injury. He was not listed on the team’s initial injury report for the week, but he did not practice on days two and three. He is now listed as questionable.
Harris’ inability to practice should raise questions about his availability, but at this point, the running back isn’t a player who needs to practice in order for the Steelers to play him. If the last two days were merely precautionary, he could still play against the Patriots.
The Steelers will start Jaylen Warren in Harris’ absence, with Godwin Igwebuike and Anthony McFarland as backups. Connor Heyward, a tight end and fullback, worked out at running back this summer during training camp.
