With their victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, the Nuggets ended an unusual three-game losing streak, and they’ll try to build on that this game against the Bulls. The narrative of the past few seasons has been that Chicago is still among the NBA’s biggest letdowns.
The Bulls are a 9–15 team right now and are expected to blow up this core at some point this season. They are just not a good team. Nevertheless, this is still a talented team, so the Nuggets will need to go into this game with the appropriate attitude.
Denver will have to depend more on Jokic and the others if Murray is unable to play, which is something they have had to do more often than they had intended to begin the season. Murray has sadly been in and out of the starting lineup a lot this season. This is not to say that Jokic and his supporting cast aren’t capable of stepping up, because they most definitely are.
