Sophie Molineux, an all-rounder for Australia, triumphantly returned to ODI cricket by thrashing Bangladesh by six wickets.
In her first ODI since 2021, Molineux helped Bangladesh get bowled out for 97 in 44.1 overs at Mirpur by taking 3 for 10 from 10 overs.

Three of the first five wickets fell to Molineux, and in the 32nd over, Bangladesh was down to 61 for 8.
Her exploits came when the Bangladeshi batters were completely outmatched by Megan Schutt, Ashleigh Gardner, Georgia Wareham, and Alana King combined.

When Phoebe Litchfield was run out for five, her lean run continued, and Tahlia McGrath did the same. However, Perry and Gardner worked together to lead the Australians to a resounding victory.
Three days ago, Australia won the first ODI by 118 runs; three T20Is will follow Wednesday’s third match.
