Dierick Henry is a free agent who the Cincinnati Bengals are hoping to sign.
The Bengals’ (+500) odds are best matched by just the Patriots (+350). Cincinnati has the lowest probability among the seven other clubs they mentioned. Better odds can only be found with New England and the field (+450).
For Tennessee this season, Henry has run for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns. It’s understandable why the four-time Pro Bowler would depart Nashville, especially with Mike Vrabel out of town and the Titans resetting. It is slated for him to become a free agent for the first time in his career in March.
Does he truly belong with the Bengals? Given his age and lack of pass-catching prowess, he may fetch a higher price than they would be ready to pay for an aging back.
Joe Mixon, a seasoned running back with a 2024 contract, would also need to be decided upon by Cincinnati. Though fascinating, Henry to the Bengals seems improbable.
