Jake DeBrusk, Matt Poitras, and Derek Forbort were all on the ice before Tuesday’s TD Garden matchup with the Calgary Flames. Following their Sunday visit to Toronto, All-Stars coach Jim Montgomery, along with players David Pastrnak and Jeremy Swayman, were not present.
There were no official updates on any injuries without Montgomery, but DeBrusk stated he planned to play against Calgary.
“I needed the break.” Sincerely speaking, I’d really like a bit extra if I could,” stated DeBrusk, who was still sporting the scars from his sunburn from St. Bart’s.
However, you never want to watch from outside the lineup. However, you have to be upfront with the team if you reach a point where you are unable to support them. I believe that this vacation was really beneficial. I’ve experienced worse. I’ve improved significantly, which is really great. Simply go day by day.
He claimed that over the vacation, a number of Bruins players traveled with their significant others.
He traveled with Kevin Shattenkirk, Matt Grzelcyk, and Danton Heinen. “It was good to get away and enjoy the sun, but it’s good to be back skating again,” he remarked after returning to skating.
