Making a compelling case for Trajen Odom in Oregon
He discussed the journey and his most recent recruitment with Ducks Digest.
“The campus design alone, together with all the amenities, is simply incredible right now. Odom remarked, “It’s everything I expected and more.” Meeting the new staff and other coaches, as well as spending time with Coaches Tony Tuioti, Tosh Lupoi, and Dan Lanning, was a pleasant experience. All of them are wonderful, sincere individuals.”
Odom had a one-on-one meeting with the head coach of Oregon, and he is excited about the prospect of playing collegiate ball in the Pacific Northwest.
We discussed the potential options that Oregon offers, should I want to commit to studing there. Next, what the O’s true brand is, and how coach Lanning is a genuinely sincere individual. He will work with you in the same way on your good days and bad, but at the end of the day, he will still love you.”

His best memory of his time with the Ducks was not so much a highlight as it was one specific moment. Not that we hear about it very much.
“Obviously, the uniforms and all that stuff, but I’d say the favorite part for me was really getting to talk to Kenny Farr,” he explained. “Coaches and everything, they were telling me how when I get there they can really hook me up, and Kenny would hook me up because I want to get to like graphic design, like architecture, so talking to Kenny and seeing how his creative process through making all the gear and cleats was amazing.”
DL Trajen Odom (2025) was in Oregon during his visit. Oregon constantly emphasizes the strength of their brand, which is something that Trajen Odom/Oregon Athletics© finds relatable, according to Ducks Digest on FanNation.
“Talking to people about how I can better myself not just through football but life after football if I go to Oregon was the highlight for me.”Along with Odom, his parents thoroughly enjoyed their trip.
“They cherished it.” According to them, I’m a wonderful fit. Oregon has everything I could possibly want, and it’s close to home in California. Truly.”

I had always loved Oregon, but visiting Eugene for the first time and getting a firsthand look at everything was amazing. That simply improved everything for me,” Odom remarked. Right now, they rank first in my opinion. I can truly say that I consider this area to be home.”
“After taking a little break, I’m going to head up to Ohio State, Georgia, and maybe back home to USC for some spring practices.” I will, however, make a firm effort to return to Oregon after that if at all possible.”
Future decisions about Odom’s timeline seem to be negotiable. He remarked, “Maybe it will change.” “I could commit earlier than I expected, but still, I’m on the line ’til like early June.”
