Jordan Herman, OT for Florida, has committed to Charlotte
He moves to Queen City with former Gators quarterback Max Brown. On Monday, Brown declared that he would be siding with Biff Poggi and company.
After spending a year at Butler Community College, the 6-foot-8, 375-pound tackle was recruited by Billy Napier and Co. He was one of the first players the Gators acquired with the massive stature they have been after in Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton.
Herman’s sizeable athleticism indicated that, with additional development, he could be a high-upside project piece for Florida’s outside offensive line in the future. He never achieved the upward ascent into the lineup, despite the Gators’ best efforts to develop him into an offensive tackle of bookend caliber.
