In the Suns’ match against the Timberwolves, Grayson Allen of the Suns aggravates his ankle ailment.
He was later declared out of the game, and the Suns ultimately lost 105-93. Minnesota is already up 2-0 in the series.
On a drive to the lane, Allen was defending Mike Conley when he launched himself into the air in an attempt to block the shot and landed awkwardly on his right leg. Allen needed assistance getting off the court and into the locker room. Allen, who topped the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage this year, was listed by the Suns as doubtful. Phoenix coach Frank Vogel praised Allen’s toughness and desire to compete before the game.
In Game 1, Allen finished with four points after going 0-for-3 from the field in 25 minutes. In 17 minutes, he scored three points on 1-for-2 shooting in Game 2.
