Green was hit by Steve Kerr during the game against Phoenix, and Kerr is urging Green to change following his indefinite suspension.
Kerr brought up some of Green’s previous transgressions, such as his five-game suspension this season for choking Timberwolves player Göbert and his October fine for punching teammate Poole during practice.
Kerr’s remarks
The group understands that Green needs to work on his behavior and consider his choices in order to grow as a person. Kerr stated, “I believe the suspension makes sense. “I see more at stake in this than just basketball. The goal is to assist Draymond. I believe it’s a chance for Draymond to take a step back and alter his strategy and way of living.
That’s not a simple task to complete. It’s not like you can just say, “Okay, let’s play five games, and he’ll be fine.”This is about his life, not just an outburst on the court. This is about a person I love, someone I’ve known for ten years, and who I believe in because of his passion, dedication, loyalty, and love for his friends, family, and teammates.
“Aiming to support that man. For it is that person who needs to change the one who punched Jordan Poole last year, the one who took a wild flail at Jusuf, and the one who choked Rudy [Gobert]. And he is aware of that.
