For the next three years, McDonald’s Fiji is part of the Fijian Drua sponsorship program.
Additionally, Ronald McDonald House Charities Fiji has been named the official charity of the Fijian Drua by both organizations.
Drua CEO Mark Evans says it’s fantastic for the Drua to have the backing of one of the most recognizable companies in the world and one of Fiji’s top organizations. He also welcomes McDonald’s Fiji to their sponsorship vistavale and praises their support of the Drua ladies.
Evans claims that in addition to their considerable community involvement, McDonald’s Fiji has been a tremendous sponsor of sports in Fiji. He adds that they are pleased to declare that the Fijian Drua would actively collaborate with Ronald McDonald House Charities Fiji.
He goes on to say that the club will gladly lend its voice and support to this fantastic effort, which helps children and families in need of hospital treatment and assistance. Evans states that they are appreciative of McDonald’s Fiji’s choice to become a major partner of the Drua ladies and join their vuvale.
According to him, McDonald’s backing will guarantee the women’s game’s continuous expansion, enabling more females to select rugby as a feasible career route. He adds that the statement made today is timely because the Drua Women will play in Super Rugby Women, which begins the following week.
This is an amazing opportunity for McDonald’s Fiji and Ronald McDonald House Charities, according to Marc McElrath, Managing Director of McDonald’s Fiji. According to McElrath, they are excited for some thrilling rugby and are looking forward to working and supporting the Fijian Drua over the next years.
Next Sunday at 12pm in Ballymore, Brisbane, the Fijian Drua Women’s team will take on the Queensland Reds in the 2024 Super W.
