Developer of Helldivers 2 Announces Upcoming Hotfix Update for Crashing Issues
A few days ago, Helldivers 2 got a new update that brought some balance adjustments to the game. The community was not pleased with the nerfing of weapons like the Slugger. The Helldivers 2 patch notes did not address several interesting additions made by the creators, though. As an example, the well-liked Quasar Cannon received a somewhat intriguing quality-of-life addition that let users track the charge of the weapon.
Although the upgrade had many positive aspects, users were greatly irritated by the subsequent crashes. However, according to a recent report, things might be better very soon.
According to Reddit user mrsmash85, Arrowhead Studios has released an update for Helldivers 2’s crashing problems. Community manager Twinbeard stated that a hotfix is being developed to fix the issues users have been having on the official Discord channel. There is a catch, though, even if fans may be relieved given that the game is now practically unplayable for many.
The annoying crashing problems in Helldivers 2 may receive a hotfix, but not anytime soon.
Twinbeard goes on to say that the update won’t be arriving over the weekend, implying that it might take some time for the fix to actually become available. It was urged that users “hang in there or let the game rest for a while” but they also acknowledged that Helldivers 2’s supporters have been steadfast in their support. Many fans opposed the concept of pausing the game, even though they were happy to hear that the creators are finally working to address the problem.
Many gamers mentioned that one of the main things luring them into Helldivers 2 was the game’s now-completed primary order. The players’ situation appeared dire at first since they were losing territory and had little chance of liberating the planets. Eventually, though, things improved, and players found Operation Swift Disassembly to be a success.
Players are currently anticipating the arrival of the next Warbond in Helldivers 2, which will bring a ton of new content to the live service game. It is unclear, though, if this remedy will be made available with that update.
