Sherrone Moore provided some encouraging information heading of Ohio State despite the injuries Michigan football has been dealing with.
By the end of November, injuries are always a concern, and Michigan football hasn’t been exempt from injuries in recent weeks. J.J. McCarthy didn’t appear fully recovered. Who knows how much that affected his performance versus Maryland, but it will be interesting to see on Saturday.
Roman Wilson, McCarthy’s primary wide receiver, was knocked out of the game after just catching one pass for 22 yards against the Terrapins.
There were some doubts over Wilson’s availability for “The Game,” but Sherrone Moore assured the media during their meeting that Wilson will be “good to go” for the Saturday game, according to Isaiah Hole of Wolverines Wire.
LaDarius Henderson and Myles Hinton are also anticipated to play in the Michigan football game against Ohio State, according to Moore. Wilson is not the only player likely to return.
For the majority of the season, Henderson has been the starting left tackle. Hinton filled in excellently until he departed the game due to injury, but he was absent from the Maryland game.
