Kings-Pacers Injury Report: Is Haliburton Eligible to Return to Sacramento?
The previous King Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers may be the opponent Sacramento faces this time. The All-Star guard, who has been out of action for about two weeks due to a long hamstring injury, may make a comeback against his former squad after being sent off by the organization in the Domantas Sabonis deal two seasons ago.
Prior to kickoff, both clubs made available their injury bulletins. Haliburton’s status was changed to questionable:
Kings of Sacramento:
Not one
Indiana Pacers:
Tyrese Haliburton- QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)
Pascal Siakam- OUT (trade processing)
Bennedict Mathurin- QUESTIONABLE (ankle)
Aaron Nesmith- QUESTIONABLE (shins)
Obi Toppin- QUESTIONABLE (calf)
The Kings have a clear slate and will continue to be quite healthy until 2024. On Thursday, a number of well-known Pacers players might not be in the starting lineup.
Prior to the competition, Haliburton, Benedict Mathurin, Aaron Nesmith, and Obi Toppin are also dubious. Pascal Siakam, who was just moved, won’t be in the starting lineup until his transaction has been finalized.
This could be an easy game to regain some momentum following their last loss if we see a significant number of these important rotational players finally ruled out. Following three straight losses, the Kings must begin rebuilding their team now, before it’s too late. The best method to do so could be to head back to the Golden One Center.
