Vikings will not bench Josh Dobbs at quarterback: “We have a lot of faith in him.”
On Sunday, Nick Mullens will serve as the backup. When the Vikings visit the Raiders on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, Josh Dobbs will start for the fifth time in a row.
After Dobbs threw four interceptions in a home loss to the Chicago Bears before the bye week, head coach Kevin O’Connell was noncommittal about his starter, and it wasn’t until Wednesday that O’Connell gave Dobbs a public vote of confidence.
