Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, has said that he is “running out of energy” and will leave the position at the end of the current campaign.
When Klopp announced his decision, his side was leading the Premier League. “I informed the team in November,” Klopp stated.
It’s evident that many people find this knowledge shocking when they first hear it, but I can try to explain it.
The players, the staff, the city, and our supporters are just a few of the many things that I love about our club. I think everything is wonderful. But I’m sure this is the right decision since I’m sticking with it, and that should tell you how certain I am.
In all honesty, I’m feeling, well, tired. I have no problems at all, of course, at this time. Though for the time being everything is OK, I have known for a long that I will ultimately need to make an announcement. I know I can’t do this task again and over again.
“After the years we had together and after all the time we spent together and after all the things we went through together, the respect grew for you, the love grew for you and the least I owe you is the truth – and that is the truth.”
Liverpool’s win total since the German’s appointment as manager of the Reds is 100%.
Liverpool won their sixth European Cup under manager Jurgen Klopp’s watch in the 2019 Champions League final in Madrid against Tottenham.
Most significantly, they became victorious in the Premier League the following season, along with the Fifa Club World Cup and the Uefa Super Cup.
After losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Paris and to Manchester City on the last day of the Premier League season, Liverpool almost completed a quadruple in 2021–2022. Nevertheless, they did end up with a domestic cup double.
Though they did not win any major titles in the previous season, the Reds are now in the race for four trophies. They proceeded to the Carabao Cup final on Wednesday by defeating Fulham.
