NFL Draft entry for Brenden Bates The tight end will go into the professional ranks following six years in Lexington.
After attending Archbishop Moeller High School in the Queen City as a 6-foot-5 super senior from Cincinnati, Bates moved to the UK in the class of 2018 and has since declared that he will be entering the NFL Draft. To share the news, he went to Twitter.
Bates has 26 receptions for 272 yards and two scores to cap out his time at UK, but his blocking notably served to strengthen the run game.
Teams all throughout the NFL are always on the lookout for players that can not only make the catches but also take the hits when blocking. Bates is the ideal example of that.
Khamari Anderson will probably be featured frequently to start 2024, but Dingle and Kattus will take over for Kentucky in the upcoming season.Warmest wishes for Brenden’s upcoming professional endeavors!
