Drua gets ready for the Chiefs game
After winning their first game at home against the Crusaders, they got yesterday off. They are back today hoping to win their second away game in the competition in three seasons.
When Drua played Moana Pasifika in their inaugural season at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta, they won their first away game.
Although it’s never an easy undertaking, coach Mick Byrne says it is achievable.
“We’ll watch the Chiefs today, and our goal is to simply keep improving what we’re doing.” The most important thing for us to do is to concentrate on our game, keep carrying the ball properly, take care of the ball around the contact area, recycle it, and play again. I believe that throughout our game, we will look into certain tactical areas related to the Chiefs.
He continues by saying that his group is competent and ought to take initiative when given the chance.
They take face the Chiefs on Saturday at FMG Stadium Waikato at 630 p.m.
