Michael Jordan’s son Larsa Pippen discusses whether or not she will ever have children.
Larsa Pippen is being open about her plans for her partnership with Marcus Jordan. The couple, who are not yet engaged, has stated in previous interviews that a wedding is “in the works.” The “Real Housewives of Miami” actress now acknowledges that having children is a possibility. In a recent episode of “Chicks in the Office,” a Barstool Sports program, Pippen discussed the idea of starting a family with Michael Jordan’s 33-year-old son.
“I feel like if I was to be with someone, like I am now, that didn’t have kids, I feel like if he wanted to have kids, I would be up for it,” she stated. “I enjoy being a mother. I think that’s my all-time favorite title.”
Pippen, 49, talked candidly with Us Weekly about her choice to store her eggs as a kind of “insurance policy” for herself and Marcus.
“I’m really happy with my four kids, but I feel like it wouldn’t be fair for me to not give Marcus that opportunity if we wanted to have kids,” she stated.
Pippen and Chicago Bulls great Scottie Pippen are parents to four children: Scotty Jr., 23, Preston, 22, Justin, 19, and Sophia, 15.
After separating in 2016, Larsa and Scottie divorced in 2022. September of that year, little than a year later, reports about her and Marcus’s romance began to circulate.
In January 2023, the pair shared an Instagram post confirming their relationship.
Although Larsa married Scottie in the last years of the Bulls’ dynasty, she says she didn’t know Marcus until they met in 2019 at an event organized by Jordan Brand, a division of Nike.
“We didn’t know each other before we started dating,” she explained. A century ago, I had never heard of him. It seems like a lot of people want to draw that conclusion and turn it into something bad.
“We’re in a terrific spot and we’re quite happy. To be honest with you, I kind of tune out the negative stuff because it doesn’t really effect my day-to-day and don’t really think about it. Surrounding myself with good, positive people, individuals I look up to, and people who are accomplishing wonderful things has an impact on my day-to-day life. I don’t really care what you think if you’re not making a lot of progress. If I were to disregard you and want to be like you, why then do I care”
