Diego Llorente, a defender for Leeds United, may leave in the summer due to interest from major European teams.
It would be intriguing to watch if Leeds, who are presently vying for promotion to the top level, can make it back to the Premier League at the end of the current campaign.
Although the title team will be disappointed to lose a player of Llorente’s caliber for a small fee, they are unable to prevent him from departing due to the terms of the two teams’ agreement. According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain, a French team, has also shown interest in the defender.
He will want to compete at a top level; therefore, playing for PSG or Roma the next season will appeal to him more than going back to Leeds United. The first summer signing for Leeds United is almost finalized.
Regardless of whether Leeds United gets promoted back to the Premier League, it has been claimed that they will start negotiations to sign Joe Rodon with Spurs.
Recent reports, such as this one from Give MeSport, indicate that the Whites “have a strong chance” of making the Welshman’s loan swap permanent and that they won’t be prevented from negotiating with Daniel Levy because of their league position.
Rodon, 26, who joined on a season-long loan last summer, has emerged as Daniel Farke’s defensive focal point. One of the Championship’s most tenacious defenders, the Spurs loanee appears to be enjoying his time in Yorkshire.
Furthermore, Leeds are in a strong position to come to an arrangement with their English rivals because Rodon’s Spurs contract is about to expire in less than 18 months.Leeds is aiming to sign a player who is now valued at just €6 million on Transfermarkt. This player could be among the smartest additions Leeds makes this summer.
Rodon, who has played for Wales 43 times, has been in 38 games since the season began, starting 33 of those games in the Championship
