Cody Gakpo claims the £60 million Liverpool star consistently scores big goals during practice.
Cody Gakpo and Curtis Jones were discussing some of Liverpool’s recent FA Cup goals when they spoke to ITV Sport. Gakpo had an intriguing response to Szoboszlai’s goal against Leicester. The Dutchman claimed that Szoboszlai typically shoots like that in practice, thus this strike was just part of his typical day’s work.
Szoboszlai gets rave reviews while in training. Gakpo gave his assessment of his £60 million teammate’s shooting prowess. “Szoboszlai’s goal against Leicester is typical for him; have you watched him shoot during practise? This has to be, Gakpo said, “I’m kidding, brother, this is a worldie.”
Not unexpected, Hearing that Szoboszlai scores some amazing goals during training is not at all shocking. We can only speculate as to how trigger-happy the Hungarian is behind the scenes when the pressure is off, given that he plays in the Premier League and isn’t scared to fire from any distance.
We would hate to be a goalkeeper faced with stopping any of the midfielder’s long-range shots because of his amazing skill. Szoboszlai hasn’t quite found his scoring groove in the Premier League yet, but don’t worry, he will soon find his scoring touch and blow Anfield away in the upcoming months with some amazing goals.v
typical, do you get what I mean? Gakpo said “I understand what you mean, but to do it in a game, and he didn’t even start that game, he came on,” Jones remarked.
