The Tigers are on track to become the top independent school in America.
The top quarterback, top running back, and top wide receiver have committed to the Tigers, and earlier this month, the coaches hosted Micah DeBose, the top athlete at his position.
Following his visit to Baton Rouge to speak with Brad Davis and the staff, the top interior offensive lineman in the 2025 cycle started to make waves with the Bayou Bengals.
Following DeBose’s visit, the Tigers are now in the running for the top interior offensive lineman in the country after two crystal balls were logged on Monday. Both Chad Simmons of On3 and Anna Adams of 247Sports recorded their predictions.
It’s evident that LSU is making noise and has emerged as the program to beat for DeBose’s services after talking with people who are aware of his recruiting.
Davis paid the 6-foot-4, 290-pound player a visit in Alabama earlier this month, and DeBose spent the first weekend of February at The Boot to discover what the purple and gold were all about.
DeBose, a former Georgia commit, resumed recruiting and made visits to numerous prestigious programs.
The nation’s best universities, including Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, and USC, are keeping a close eye on DeBose as he works through his recruitment.
Auburn is still actively courting him, but DeBose is getting a sense of other schools as they register their interest following Georgia’s decommitment. Two 2025 offensive line pledges from LSU are Brett Bordelon and recent commit Devin Harper.
Only a few weeks ago, Harper—the third-ranked athlete in Louisiana—announced his commitment to Brad Davis and the Tigers following a fruitful visit to Baton Rouge.
With the Tigers leading the recruiting trail, additional splashes should happen sooner rather than later. The Tigers have America’s top recruiting class for the 2025 cycle.
As he moves through his process, DeBose will be a name to keep an eye on in the upcoming weeks, as LSU rapidly establishes itself as the team to beat.
