Following his visit to Michigan State, Michigan LB Brady Pretzlaff withdraws from the Gophers.
On Wednesday, linebacker Brady Pretzlaff of Gaylord, Michigan, announced on X a platform that was formerly known as Twitter that he was dropping out of the University of Minnesota’s 2024 class.
“I have chosen to decommit from the University of Minnesota after much consideration with my family and some time spent in prayer. In his post, he expressed his gratitude to the Minnesota coaches and supporters for their unwavering belief in him.
Former defensive coordinator Joe Rossi, who recently left the program to take the same position at Michigan State, recruited Pretzlaff, a three-star prospect, to Minnesota. Over the weekend, Pretzlaff paid a visit to the Spartans.
Pretzlaff told 247Sports, “My official visit went very well this weekend.” “The new facilities are really lovely, and the campus is fantastic. It’s a significant opportunity to play for an in-state team with a strong track record of success. A week ago, Michigan also extended an offer to Pretzlaff.
