Milwaukee Bucks exhibiting All-Star Game candidate art at 3rd Street Market Hall
The nominees and all current Bucks players will be included in artwork and posters during the show, which the team said will run from January 16 to February 20.
Bree Vouga, a graphic designer for the Bucks and an MIAD alum, contributed to the artwork.
“We’re excited that the Milwaukee community can now view our distinctive, pop-art-inspired All-Star campaign at MIAD’s Gallery at the Ave,” vice president of marketing for the Bucks Mallory Steinberg told WISN 12 News in a statement. “We’re encouraging our fans to cast their ballots for Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Khris Middleton in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.”
The Gallery at the Ave is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, on Friday, January 26, and Thursday, February 8, before to the Bucks’ home games, the gallery will be open until 7 p.m. On January 26 from 5-7 p.m., the first 100 fans who arrive will get a complimentary All-Star poster.
“We are thrilled to carry on our collaboration with the Bucks by showcasing pieces from their All-Star collection at MIAD Gallery at the Ave,” MIAD’s vice president for institutional advancement Tracy Milkowski stated in the same press release. “The college is proud to have our alumna’s work on exhibit for the Milwaukee community to view.”
