Defensive standout from Ohio State declares for the 2024 NFL Draft
Linebacker Steele Chambers of the Buckeyes declared for the 2024 NFL Draft on Instagram, stating that he feels prepared.
It has been an honor and a joy to be a part of the brotherhood and community that I now call my home and family, Buckeye Nation.
“I would like to express my gratitude to my family, parents, sisters, and me for their continuous support during this trip. Without you, I could not have completed this.
“I would want to express my gratitude to coaches Ryan Day, Jim Knowles, James Laurinaitis, and the entire coaching staff as well as the athletic department for their support and belief in me, as well as for giving me the resources I needed to succeed.
Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to my teammates the fighters I battled alongside every day. I wouldn’t be here right now if it weren’t for this fraternity. I’m here because of you.”
Chambers had four interceptions, three sacks, and 208 tackles in his four seasons at Ohio State.
