$50 Rory McIlroy tickets were purchased by one Masters bettor as a party favor, and they’re either the cutest or cruelest present ever
Coby DuBose, an X user, claimed to have bought $50 straight bets on McIlroy as party treats. In response to inquiries over the veracity of his statements, DuBose provided a picture of the Circa sportsbook tickets as evidence.
“I may have placed $50 Rory outright wagers to distribute as party favors at my Masters celebration on Saturday, and I’m excited to witness a group of pleasant, modest normal people experience an involuntary journey on the Rory Train while they sweat their first outright,” DuBose stated.
With the second-best odds in the field of +1225, every ticket would earn $612. These presents have the potential to be quite profitable. However, those who have wagered on McIlroy to win at any of his 14 prior Masters appearances are aware of how unkind those wagers can also be.
These partygoers most likely came expecting to enjoy a few cocktails and some appetizers while the Masters played softly in the background. With just two missed cuts and seven top-10 results in his career at Augusta, McIlroy will offer them optimism now that they have a reason to care about what happens. But if past events are any indication, there will be a great deal of disappointment.
