Fans of Pokemon Go are ecstatic about the eclipse celebration and the new Legendary
The Pokemon Go App team announced the news on the X social media network, which included video of an eclipse and Necrozma’s shadow on a pavement. The video concluded with the event’s summertime logo.
“This impending eclipse portends dark adventures in Pokemon Go,” reads the caption. The Necrozma character’s energy comes from searching for light, which is why it rages around so much. People are pleased about the announcement’s timing because it’s a Legendary from Pokemon Sun and Moon, despite its weaknesses, which include the dark.
The post has received positive feedback from followers and has garnered over 1.2 million views in less than twenty-four hours. “Top-tier marketing” was the response from one user to the announcement post. Some said, “Really, this is the best way to promote it,” while others thought the tease was “perfect timing!”
In the upcoming months, further information is anticipated. The global Pokemon Go Fest will take place on July 13 and 14.
What to anticipate from the 2024 Pokemon Go Fest
The two days of the event will be spent online. More than 70 Pokemon will be visible during this, the largest Pokemon Go event of the year. There will be incentives and unique Pokemon costumes. A one-hour Lure Module, Field Research themes centered around the various Pokemon ecosystems, and unexpected encounters in GO Snapshot will all be available to trainers.
On the first day of the festival, the mythical Pokemon Marshadow will also make its appearance globally, and trainers will have the opportunity to perform special research to discover more about Gloomdweller Pokemon. The three in-person events are followed by this global event. The inaugural one will be held in Sendai, Japan, from May 30 to June 2.
