Maxx Crosby, a star for the Las Vegas Raiders, stated that the squad must continue to play together in their matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Raiders played well at all levels as they set a franchise record with 63 points the previous time out. The Raiders have not defeated the Chiefs in a number of years, but if they can maintain their current high level of play, they have a chance to cause an upset.
Given the Chiefs’ previous struggles, the Raiders may have a great chance. In the most recent episode of his podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby, defensive end Maxx Crosby discussed the team’s cohesive play and how they can maintain that momentum heading into this game.
It’s a tribute to the players and coaching staff, he remarked, since for us, it’s all about finishing in the second half. We didn’t give up once. From beginning to end, we persisted in going outside and upping the tempo. Though the offensive deserves a great deal of praise, it wasn’t flawless.
With Tre Tucker scoring two touchdowns, Davante Adams gaining over 100 yards, and Jakobi Meyers making an incredible diving catch for a touchdown, our new offensive coordinator, Bo Hardegree, is putting on a show. Guys are just coming through on a weekly basis, and this week we didn’t even have Josh Jacobs. Guys are clearly feeding off of each other’s excitement as Zamir White rises up and has a significant effect in addition to scoring a touchdown.
We achieved our goal by dominating all three phases. You cannot ride this roller coaster into Kansas City. It can’t be that we win a game and think we’re the best team in the world, then we lay an egg. The question must be, “What’s the next level we can get to?”
Though we’re playing a better team, we still need to find a way to get better. I’m not predicting we’ll score 66 points the following week. Since we’ve already faced them, KC is a legitimate opponent and the current Super Bowl champions. Nevertheless, we know we must prevail, therefore I’m looking forward to the task. On Christmas Day, the Silver and Black will play again at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City against the Chiefs, their AFC West rivals. Make sure not to miss it on Monday, December 25, starting at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
