The position of the Browns among the 32 clubs in terms of salary cap space
Despite their current financial situation, the Cleveland Browns will eventually have spending money. We compare their cap space to that of the other NFL teams, including the Washington Commanders (who have the most), the New Orleans Saints (who have the least), and every other team.
As the Browns begin their offseason, they are almost $12 million in the hole. Rest assured, general manager Andrew Berry and his team are in a great financial position. Free agency and the NFL draft are just around the corner.
Keep in mind that in order to make room on the salary cap for the Browns to make roster improvements this offseason, they will restructure several contracts. Assuming they can keep drafting talented players like cornerback Martin Emerson Jr., defensive end Alex Wright, and offensive lineman Dawand Jones, the Browns will have plenty of money to spend this offseason.
Here are all 32 teams ranked by current cap space (numbers from Over the Cap).
