WINSLOW AND GUEYE SIGN 10-DAY CONTRACTS WITH RAPTORS.
The Toronto Raptors announced on Saturday that they have signed 10-day contracts with forward Mouhamadou Gueye (MO-hahm-a-DO Gay) and guard-forward Justise Winslow. The deal’s financial details were kept under wraps per team policy.
With Raptors 905, Winslow, who stands 6 feet 6 inches and weighs 222 pounds, averaged 16.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 26.8 minutes per game in 17 Showcase Cup and regular season games (11 starts) this season. From the field, he is shooting.514 (110-214), while from the free throw line, he is shooting.625 (25-40). Houston, Texas native Winslow was selected by the Miami Heat with the 10th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. In 344 games with Miami, Memphis, the Los Angeles Clippers, and Portland, he averaged 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while shooting.412.
Gueye, who stands six feet nine and weighs 210 pounds, played 28 Showcase Cup and regular season games (all starts) with Raptors 905, averaging 14.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 30.9 minutes per game. From the field, he is shooting.559 (167-299). Gueye, a native of Staten Island, New York, attended Stony Brook for two seasons (2019–21) before moving to Pittsburgh (2021–22), where he made Panthers history by being the first player to lead the team in both blocks (67) and three-point field goals (43) in a single season. Gueye competed for the Raptors in the Las Vegas NBA Summer League of 2023.
