Dates for the 2024 Pokemon World Championship have been revealed.
It may be necessary to modify your summer plans to fit in some Pokemon action. The Hawai’i Convention Center will host Pokemon’s 2024 World Championships from August 16–August 18, 2024. This year’s Worlds artwork, which features well-known Pokemon like Pikachu swimming with flippers, clutching cameras, and snorkeling gear, appropriately captures the idea of “fun in the sun.” Along with this news, a one-minute Worlds trailer was released, showcasing many methods for users to commemorate the Pokemon series, support their preferred trainers, and more.
The site was first revealed in August of last year, following the conclusion of the Championships, by The Pokemon Company International. Due to the devastating wildfires that were raging at the time in Hawai’i, the corporation promptly donated $200,000 to its GlobalGiving partner, the Hawaii Wildfire Relief Fund.
The official Worlds dates have released, and while many fans are thrilled, others have expressed worries on the official X post about the detrimental effects of tourism and reminded fans of the harm suffered by the wildfires in August. Now that the official dates have been announced, it seems doubtful that the event will be moved, despite the wishes of some Pokemon fanatics.
