Former Blue Jays organize a fundraising baseball clinic in St. Thomas, Ontario.
In St. Thomas, Ontario, two former bullpen pitchers for the Toronto Blue Jays are collecting money for nearby Special Olympics competitors.
Kids were taught the fundamentals of baseball at the “Power Alley” facility by Jay Jackson, a Jays reliever from the previous season, and Jason Grilli, a pitcher for the Jays in 2016 and 2017.
The two are in town for Thursday night’s St. Thomas Sports Spectacular, which is held every year.
Together with Damian Warner, Scott Moir, Shayne Corson, Koko B Ware, Jamaal Charles, Fred Jackson, Erika Polidori, and Emma Reinke, the pair forms an excellent head table.
